🚩 East District Pan-Fried Dumplings and Noodles, Affordable and Not Monotonous
📍 Location and Transportation: Located in the well-known East District of Taipei, within Alley 216 on Section 4 of Zhongxiao East Road. The nearest MRT exit is Exit 3 of Zhongxiao Dunhua Station, about a 3-minute walk, and there are some motorcycle parking spots in front of the store.
🏠 Space: The entrance features the ordering and cooking area, while the dining area inside has a dimly lit and somewhat old-fashioned decor, with over 30 seats.
💰 Ordering and Payment: The menu is available in paper format. After finishing your meal, you can settle the bill at the counter, accepting cash and various payment methods. (LinePay Promotion: 10% discount with coupons at designated stores in the East District business circle.)
🍽️ Dishes:
Tomato Noodles: Generous amount of tomato sauce, with a fresh and slightly tangy taste that makes the mixed noodles less monotonous and boring.
Signature Pan-Fried Dumplings: Quite delicious; I was lucky today to receive some beautifully fried and hot ones. (Sometimes they can be cold or overcooked. 🙃)
Vegetable Soup: The broth is pleasantly sweet with two types of vegetables; ordering a serving of boiled greens for 40 TWD is also a relatively high value.
💭 Summary:
The flavors are quite good, and considering the location (East District of Taipei), the prices are reasonable.
However, it may not satisfy those who have high standards for the environment and consistent food quality. ❌
