Revered as the "McDonald's of the South," every time I return to Kaohsiung, I can't help but crave a serving of Dan Dan!
This visit was a spur-of-the-moment decision, and when I arrived around 8 am, there was already a long line.
A reminder for everyone: if you want to save time, it's recommended to call ahead for a reservation; picking up your order on-site usually doesn't take long.
This time, I ordered two combos plus one new item:

⭐️ Red Meat Noodle Soup
The broth is made from dried bonito, paired with a sweet southern flavor – still holds the familiar taste from my memories!
⭐️ Crispy Chicken Leg Burger
Freshly fried chicken leg meat sandwiched in a burger bun, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I felt super satisfied after finishing one.
⭐️ Corn Chowder
A sweet-style Taiwanese thick soup, containing potatoes, corn, and crab sticks; I personally really love this flavor~
⭐️ Mushroom Chicken Croquette (New Item)
Biting into it delivers a rich taste of mushrooms and potatoes, the presence of chicken is a bit subtle; while it’s not spectacular, it’s still pretty good.

Dan Dan during a public holiday is really daunting, it’s packed with people!
But I still have to say:
If you haven’t had a Dan Dan Burger, don’t say you’ve been to Kaohsiung!
