Aunt Zhang's Noodles is located in an alley in the city center of Xindian. The nearest MRT station is at Exit 1 of Qizhang, about a 3-minute walk away. The shop is almost not decorated at all; the noodle cooking stall is right at the entrance, and there is not much seating inside, which is divided into two areas: left and right. Most customers are local residents and office workers.

Ordering is done by directly speaking to the owner for the noodles and to the aunt on the right for side dishes. After dining, payment is made at the counter, and only cash is accepted.

If one person is eating, there is often an issue with not having enough vegetables, and I don’t want to order an extra portion of blanched vegetables, so I always ask the owner to add more vegetables to the noodles for an extra $10. The portion of noodles is quite generous and is regular white noodles. There are about 5-6 wontons, but they aren't very large. The broth is very mild and lightly seasoned, making it very drinkable.

The seasoning has a bit of spiciness, perfectly complementing the light noodle soup.

This noodle shop has been in business for a very long time, passed down from the first generation to the current second-generation owner. The hospitality is friendly and kind, and the food is simple and delicious. The business hours extend until 9 PM, so even those working late in the winter can enjoy a hot bowl of noodle soup.
