This restaurant offers a variety of Asian cuisine, including Chinese and Japanese dishes. The soup dumplings and Wagyu black truffle soup dumplings have received great reviews, and dishes like boiled dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, and siu mai are also satisfying.
This restaurant is located in the Santana Row shopping district, which is very popular and full of energy.
This restaurant, "Dumpling Time," is located in the Santana Row area and is quite popular. From the menu, it appears to offer both Chinese and Japanese flavors, so it can be considered an Asian restaurant.
The main Chinese dish, the soup dumplings, though not as classic as the famous Din Tai Fung, still have a great flavor, especially the Wagyu truffle soup dumplings. They also have Japanese edamame (Sichuan spicy flavor, with Japanese seven-spice powder).
There were four of us, and we ordered quite a lot of dishes: boiled dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, soup dumplings, siu mai, and meat buns, along with the edamame. Please see the photos.
One special feature is the spoons used for eating the soup dumplings. They are just right for it, and even if the skin breaks, they absorb all the delicious soup without any spilling.
We had a very filling dinner. We will definitely come back next time to try more dishes.
