This "Osteria al Casale" is one of the few restaurants that we have reserved in advance during this trip to Italy. It is good that we can make reservations by email (some restaurants can only be called by phone and are not friendly to foreigners).

The outdoor seats here directly face the sunset and sunset. The beauty is indescribable. You can only experience it yourself. It is highly recommended to come to this restaurant at night and sit outdoors! It is recommended that those who want to eat should make a reservation first, because it is difficult to find an outdoor seat during dinner, and there are customers waiting around until after 9 o'clock to be seated.

However, there are also disadvantages here. After all, it is outdoors and next to a mountainous area, so there are a lot of mosquitoes. If you are very concerned about it, you can consider it again.

I saw a lot of people ordering this dish, and it looks good, but I think the actual taste is quite ordinary. The filling is like refried beans with some vegetables, and has no taste.

Scialatielli pasta with cardoncelli mushrooms, caclocavallo cheese and sweet pepper from Senise €14
This pasta is also ordered by many people. The mushrooms in it are very delicious and the noodles are quite chewy and delicious, but I personally think it would taste better if it could be made spicy 😂

Local sausages with pan-fried chicory €10
This is the key point! The MVP of this dinner! The meat of the sausage is solid and has a spicy flavor. It tastes different from Taiwanese sausage. We both like it very much! But the side dishes on the side tasted a bit bitter, so I didn’t like it very much.

Grilled octopus and a side of courgettes with mint, olive oil and garlic €14
This dish is second place, and it is also very delicious, but because I had a better grilled octopus in Italy a few days ago, today’s tastes a little harder, maybe because it took a longer time to grill; the lettuce salad and fried octopus that come with it are The zucchini is also delicious. The fried zucchini tastes like potato chips. I like it~

Cannolo with ricotta cheese, fic-wine and hazelnuts €5
This dessert looks a bit like a large Sicilian roll. The pancakes are very crispy, but I think the filling is a bit too spicy and too sweet for my stomach.

Overall, the meal is about 3.5 stars, but the beautiful view from the outdoor seats is 5 stars, which adds to the atmosphere of the meal, so overall I give it 4 stars
