This hot pot restaurant specializes in Mongolian-flavored broth, offering fresh and diverse types of meat to satisfy the needs of meat lovers. The colorful rainbow noodles add fun to the meal, and the spicy broth is flavorful without being overly hot, warming the stomach and delicious.
The restaurant features a strong exotic decor, offers Mongolian costumes for photos, and has a lively and special atmosphere. During meals, you can participate in interesting interactive activities to enhance the dining experience.
The service team is friendly and efficient, providing detailed menu introductions, and the convenient online reservation system enhances the dining experience. Dining time is limited, so it's important to pay attention to time management.
This time, I had hot pot with friends on Yongkang Street and chose "Grassland Mongolian Hot Pot Yongkang Store." It features a Mongolian-style hot pot, and the restaurant provides Mongolian outfits for photo opportunities. The decor has a very exotic feel, making it quite a unique experience.
Today we ordered a three-beef platter. The vegetable platter and hot pot arrived quickly. We had to try a sip of the soup first! Since my friends and I all love spicy food, I have to say the spicy soup was really flavorful! (It’s spicy but not too hot, giving a warming sensation in the stomach.) I’ve always liked eating Mongolian hot pot, so I’m used to it not coming with dipping sauces (which is why I always choose a spicy base). If anyone really needs sauce, they can ask the server for some simple condiments!
The colorful noodles in the vegetable rainbow noodles were so cute. I thought the sauce for the good flavored rice was a bit too little and there was a bit too much rice. (If you're not a fan of eating a lot of rice, you might want to skip this one.)
While dining, you can also challenge the staff to Mongolian wrestling. If you win, you can receive a postcard (which is quite cute).
After the meal, you receive tokens that you can drop into a donation box at the entrance. The restaurant donates a portion of its income based on the units prompted by customer tokens!
The 1.5-hour dining time felt a bit rushed, but I really felt full after finishing my meal👌.
Overall Review: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌘
This hotpot restaurant located in Dongmen Yongkang clearly showcases its specialty through its sign - Mongolian-style hotpot! The broth indeed has its own unique flavors, living up to the name of Mongolian hotpot.
The menu is quite detailed, but that also means it has many pages, so you need to take your time to look through and think it over. 🤣🤣🤣
When ordering, the first thing to choose is the broth base, which includes a health-focused broth and their signature Mongolian-style spicy broth.
Next, you can choose between a group set or a single set according to your needs, and each set allows you to specify how much meat you want, with options like tribe member, warrior, and overlord! If that’s still not enough, you can always pay extra for more meat!
You can choose from a variety of meats, including beef, lamb, pork, and chicken. If you want seafood, that's available too!
It's completely up to you what kinds of meat you want to order.
As for hotpot ingredients, there are also plenty of vegetables available!
In terms of hotpot, it's really quite comprehensive; almost anything you want to eat is available. 😧😧😧
Moreover, the great news is you can swap a veggie platter for a meat platter! 🥹 This is fantastic for someone like me who needs to eat a lot of meat!
If you're looking to take some photos, I also recommend ordering the colorful rainbow noodles—a very unique feature. However, I realized they were mostly for photos; we didn't end up eating much of it. 🤣🤣🤣
Regarding the meals, at this price point, you can indulge in a lot of meat—it's very satisfying. Paired with the so-called Mongolian distinctive broth, it’s truly delightful! 👋👋👋
Just be careful not to accidentally order too many other hotpot ingredients or skewers, or else you might end up with a stomach explosion! 🫠🫠
On that day, we ordered
👉 Mongolian beef, which is actually a three-meat combo!
The meat here has a strong flavor, whether it's beef or lamb. If you're not afraid of the lamb taste, I highly recommend trying the lamb!
The grilled skewers are also a signature of this restaurant.
👉 Mongolian-style cumin grilled skewers—highly recommend!
Additionally, a friend ordered tofu paper, which I had never encountered before—what exactly is tofu paper? It felt so empty when eating! This was my first time experiencing tofu paper!
As for the environment, perhaps because of the stronger flavors of Mongolian hotpot, you may end up smelling like hotpot after your meal. So be mindful of what you wear when you visit.
Overall, I think this hotpot restaurant is notable for its unique broth and its quality meat. Together with other seafood hotpot ingredients and even grilled skewers, everything is excellent. For this price point, it's quite a value-for-money hotpot restaurant.
Additionally, the restaurant also has some mini-games that can reward you with meat or hotpot ingredients, which makes it easy to end up with too much food! So there’s really no need to order excessively.
You can also easily make reservations online, which definitely boosts the overall impression!

When you suddenly crave hotpot near Dongmen Shida but aren't sure where to go, I think this place should definitely be your first choice!
I really love eating hotpot, especially in autumn and winter.
Hotpot is so warm and healing, and you can crazily indulge in meat! With such a high-quality eating experience, how could one miss out on hotpot!
But do keep in mind to eat fewer hotpot ingredients and sauces!
As for whether this restaurant is suitable for bringing a date for hotpot, I personally think it's okay.
However, it depends on how much the girl likes hotpot, especially since afterwards you might both carry the strong smell of meat and hotpot.
👩: "Every time after eating hotpot, I have to wash my hair, so troublesome~~~"
👩: "I just washed my hair to go on a date with you, and now I have to wash it again! So sad!"
Hotpot is delicious, but you should also observe the state of the girl you’re with before making plans!
You see, when we notice these small details, doesn’t it make the girl feel that you're more considerate? ❤️❤️❤️
