The meals are delicious, and both the grilled salmon double feast bowl and the tempura bowl are highly recommended. The grilled salmon is cooked to perfection, and the tempura is crispy without any oily taste. The accompanying sesame spinach and Japanese salad are refreshing and tasty.
The first time eating here, I didn’t expect it to be so delicious. It truly is a famous restaurant from Japan; even though they opened a branch in Taiwan, it’s still very tasty. I highly recommend trying it out! Although I haven't been to the original restaurant in Japan, the branch in Taiwan is still very good.
This time I ordered the grilled salmon double rice bowl, upgraded to a set meal. Although it’s a bit pricey at nearly $500, it’s worth it. The salmon is perfectly grilled and very delicious; it’s served over rice with green onions, which pairs perfectly. The tempura in the tempura rice bowl is also very tasty—there's no greasy aftertaste and it isn’t too dry either. The rice underneath is topped with sauce that’s just right—not too salty.
The sesame spinach I chose for the set meal is also very good; the sesame sauce is fragrant, and the spinach, served cold with the sauce, is a perfect match. I also chose a Japanese-style salad; the salad dressing is just right, and it includes baby corn and tomatoes. It seems they recently started including miso soup as a complimentary item, so when you upgrade to a set meal, you don’t need to choose the miso soup separately.
