The restaurant's roasted chicken sandwich on toast is intricately designed, with the toast left unsliced for easy consumption. The filling includes chicken, lettuce, fried egg, and yellow mustard. The chicken is tender and well-seasoned, making it a satisfying choice.

Located at the Taichung Qing Shui Rest Station, there’s also one on the third floor that probably doesn’t need much introduction. I headed out early in the morning without having breakfast and decided to stop here for a brunch before continuing my journey. There aren't many choices this early, and I originally wanted to have the "smoked chicken cheese bread" that I had before and found very delicious. However, I didn’t see it this time, so I chose something I hadn’t tried yet.
▪️ Grilled Chicken Open-Faced Toast Sandwich $90
This is an uncut toast (with a wheat flavor) filled with chicken, lettuce, fried egg, and yellow mustard. The reason I mention it being uncut is that this way, the ingredients don't fall out as you eat towards the back, which I think is a clever design. All the ingredients were quite tasty, and the chicken was very tender. The main seasoning is yellow mustard (which I personally like quite a bit), but it shouldn't be more than that; otherwise, it would be too rich.
Overall, it’s a dish that won’t leave you feeling upset. There are quite a few ingredients, but spending $90 on this still requires some thought 😂.
