The breakfast set at Ueshima Coffee Shop is very value for money, especially the egg and cheese coleslaw sandwich, which is large in portion and has a refreshing taste. The thick-cut toast is soft and carries a sesame aroma. There is a wide variety of drink options, and the unsweetened milk coffee has a rich fragrance.
A café located at Taipei Main Station, although not easy to find, has an enticing coffee aroma. The place is often full, making it a bit crowded, but it's suitable for enjoying a leisurely breakfast.
In-store payment is only accepted in credit cards or cash, and it does not support unified invoice carriers or mobile payments, which may be slightly inconvenient for some customers.

Ueshima Coffee Shop is a place I really enjoy going to for breakfast on weekends. They offer breakfast sets (Morning Set) before 11 AM, with options like sandwiches and thick-cut butter toast. You can pair it with a drink, and most of the time, you can enjoy it for under $200. I think it's a great value and perfect for bringing a book to enjoy a leisurely breakfast time on holiday while reading.
The "Ueshima Coffee Shop - Station Front Branch" is located on B1 of Taipei Main Station. The nearest exit is M4. It's not very easy to find, but every time I pass by, I catch a whiff of strong coffee aroma. Following the scent makes it easier to locate, hahaha.
The Egg Cheese Coleslaw Sandwich Set is $180. The set includes one sandwich and a drink. Drink options include black coffee, milk coffee, black tea, milk tea, orange juice, and more.
The sandwich is super big! As a girl with an average appetite, I almost can't finish it every time. I usually finish it by a little after 10 AM, so I can skip lunch.
"Coleslaw" means cold shredded cabbage. The thick toast is stuffed full of egg salad and coleslaw, along with some bacon. The taste is quite refreshing, but because there is a good amount of mayonnaise and the sandwich is large, it can get a bit rich towards the end. Still, I find it really delicious; I miss it a bit when I haven't had it for a while.
It's especially worth mentioning that the thick toast is really tasty. It's super soft, topped with lots of black sesame, which adds a nice aroma occasionally—very delightful!
For my drink, I chose a hot unsweetened milk coffee, which comes with a cup of hot milk and a small cup of black coffee for you to mix in yourself. I feel like the milk ratio is quite high, making it very aromatic, just the kind of coffee milk I like—enjoyed it a lot!
Perhaps because it’s located inside the main station, this branch is usually about 90% full or completely packed each time I visit, making it feel a bit cramped, but the food definitely adds to the experience.
There are not many choices of cafes in Taipei Main Station. The one with the largest space is Shangdao Coffee Shop, which is always full. There is an area with long tables and power sockets. The store also provides wireless Internet, and you can take hot and cold water by yourself. , suitable for work.
My personal favorite is the "Sugar-free MILK Black Tea". It's rare to find sugar-free fresh milk tea that tastes good. This one is very rich and mellow, with a slightly sticky milky taste. The overall taste is still smooth, but the ice cubes are a bit too big. Therefore, it is suitable for being stored for a long time, keeping it cold, and because it is already rich and alcoholic, it will not become too diluted when the ice melts.
Another disadvantage is that it does not support unified invoice carriers or mobile payments, only credit cards or cash.
