The meal offers a variety of drinks, desserts, and savory dishes. The Mont Blanc is not too sweet, and paired with Nordic spiced apple tea, it is quite satisfying.
The environment is bright, and the three-floor-to-ceiling windows create a strong sense of openness, making it perfect for enjoying a leisurely afternoon alone or with friends.
The hotel offers convenient parking options, whether in the underground garage or the outdoor parking lot at the hotel entrance, providing guests with accessible parking choices.
The café located on the second floor of the Kaidu Plaza Hotel next to Wushi Harbor has a minimum spend of one drink. Its operating hours are quite short, only until 5 PM, but I think the environment is quite nice. Upon entering, you’ll find a bright dining space with floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides. They provide magazines and books, and there are some small games next to the bookshelf that are suitable for kids. It feels like even if you come alone, you won’t be bored, making it a great place to spend an afternoon.
In addition to the essential coffee drinks, desserts, and the joint afternoon tea set with Twinings, they also offer savory dishes, including hot-pressed toast and Jiang Zhencheng's beef noodle soup as well as the famous Da Cheng lamb chop noodles from Yilan. The noodles appear to be quite expensive. On the day I came with friends a bit late, we only ordered desserts and drinks.
The Mont Blanc we ordered wasn’t too sweet. The chestnut paste on top combined with the white vanilla (?) cream in the middle and the tart shell below matched quite well with the Nordic spiced apple tea. Although the apple tea can only be ordered hot, it smells wonderful. Enjoying it while chatting with friends and taking in the slightly distant ocean view felt very comfortable.
Additionally, parking at the hotel is definitely convenient. Besides the underground parking lot, there is also an outdoor parking lot available across the street from the hotel entrance (scooters can park here).
