This restaurant offers a variety of fresh sashimi, crab, and grilled fish, allowing customers to pair them with white rice or sushi vinegar rice. The selection is abundant, the flavors are unique, and it is very satisfying.
The "Katte Don" is a local specialty here. You first go to other shops to purchase plain rice (you can choose between regular rice or sushi vinegar rice) and soup (miso soup or crab soup), and then you can choose the sashimi you want to make into a donburi. Of course, you can also just order sashimi to eat, along with various crabs and grilled fish to choose from.
There are many shops available, and the prices and selections are generally similar, so it depends on which one you prefer. I specifically chose sashimi I had never tried before, such as yellowtail, cod, hirame, seasonal salmon, as well as my favorite shellfish, snails, shrimp, and red snow crab (similar to Matsuba crab but smaller). It was really satisfying. Although it might not be considered cheap when you add it all up, the variety is something you usually can't find, so I highly recommend it.
