At Tanuki-tei, okonomiyaki and yakisoba are deliciously served. In particular, the hotaru-ika (firefly squid) okonomiyaki and the Shanghai-style yakisoba with pork and bamboo shoots are exquisite. The dish featuring hotaru-ika and mushrooms, fragrant with garlic butter, is also richly flavorful.
Inside the restaurant, every table has a teppan, creating a lively atmosphere. Although it is a reception for a new store, there is a sense of stability that evokes its 46-year history.
The food is brought to you grilled, and they adjust the amount of mayonnaise, demonstrating a careful attention to service.

Since my companion doesn't like mayonnaise, I had them put it on only half😂

The fluffy batter had a lot of firefly squid🦑 inside.
The batter contained plenty of cabbage and pickled ginger, making it delicious🥬; the firefly squid was quite prominent and tasty🦑
Sprinkling katsuobushi and shichimi also made it delicious🐟
