This dish is quite unique and not found in many places, but I personally think it’s the most ordinary one. It’s not difficult to eat but is a bit too salty.

The deep-fried eel is super tender and really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a coating similar to traditional salt and crispy chicken. It’s a very authentic specialty dish!

Mooncake shrimp cakes are quite common, but there aren’t many as thick as this one. They must be eaten hot for the skin to be crispy, and dipping them in Thai sauce is a perfect match!

Our lunch stop as we drove from Chiayi to Puli. It's a nice place for a large table like ours (11). Service was quick and everything was delicious. Seating is comfortable and the place is spacious. Glad we were able to find a place like this to eat and relax as we seemed to be limited in options.
