Day Two of the Chiang Mai trip
Dickson visited a well-known café in Chiang Mai once again
This time, he went to a café located in the old town of Chiang Mai

The atmosphere in the old town cafés is quite different from the café visited previously in the Nimman area.
Indeed, the cafés in the old town have a more traditional Thai feel.

The café in Nimman has a more urban vibe,
while the cafés in the old town tend to have unique characteristics.

In this café, the decoration and facilities are quite peculiar.
In addition to the general dining area,
there is an outdoor section with many dining spaces.
In the middle of this area, there is a very large water wheel that is continuously operating!
It seems this is the main attraction of this café.

In the entire space with the water wheel,
there is a strong feeling of dining in a jungle.
The whole area is filled with moisture,
and the operation of the water wheel is quite loud.
One can only say that seeing this water wheel in operation inside the café is truly spectacular.

Although this place is called a café,
the variety of food served is really quite extensive,
more like a casual dining café.

Whether you want a typical Thai brunch,
or a Thai main dish, or even a full meal,
they offer a little bit of everything, including Western-style burgers and breakfasts!
You could say there's a lot of food available here!

In terms of food,
I felt it was decent and pretty tasty.
And because they offer so many items,
I almost wanted to order one of everything to try! 🤣🤣🤣
They offer a mix of Western-style brunch and local Thai dishes,
but unfortunately, my stomach can only handle so much!

For friends interested in visiting a café in the old town during their leisure time,
if you're curious about the water wheel feature,
I definitely recommend coming here to check it out!

⭐️ Food Section
When I arrived and saw the menu,
I really wanted to order a lot of items,
but looking at my stomach, that seemed impossible.

In the end, I still ordered too much and couldn't finish it all,
but I thought what I ordered that day was quite good.

👉 Desserts and Cakes
When visiting a café, you obviously have to start with some desserts.
Here, the desserts are above average,
performing decently with nothing particularly bad.

👉 Brunch Set
Since it was breakfast time,
I, of course, ordered a breakfast set to try.
That day, I had a Eggs Benedict burger with bacon.
I didn't expect the portion to be so large, with two whole burgers!

The side salad was really ample!
This breakfast set is quite similar to general brunch places in Taiwan,
without any particularly Thai flavors. 🤣🤣🤣

In terms of food, I think it performed decently and above average.
I believe many people come here for the atmosphere of the place.
So, I didn't have high expectations for the food.

⭐️ Drinks Section
Since we’re in Thailand, we must order some Thai milk tea!
However, over the past two days, the Thai milk tea I've had has all tasted quite similar.
The common feature is that they are all extremely sweet!

⭐️ Atmosphere Section
Earlier, I mentioned there is a very large water wheel in the outdoor dining area of this place.
The whole outdoor feel is somewhat like a dining area in the wilderness.
During the daytime, it might feel a bit hot,
but the nearby water wheel continuously releases a variety of moisture.
So dining quality is still acceptable.

However, due to the water wheel actively operating,
the entire environment may feel a bit humid.
So if you're hoping to dine in the outdoor area,
you might want to be aware of this aspect.

The indoor dining area is also quite quiet,
with an overall style reminiscent of traditional Thai decor.
From a Taiwanese perspective, it feels similar to the relaxation area of a Thai massage place.

There’s an immersive ancient feeling...
Overall, I felt the dining quality and atmosphere were quite good.

⭐️ Service Section
That day, as far as I remember, the shop didn't provide any particularly special service.
However, the menu is already available in Chinese,
so I think there shouldn’t be any issues while ordering.

⭐️ Price Section
The cost of living in Thailand is indeed significantly lower than in Taiwan.
The expenses for this meal were really not high,
and you can simultaneously enjoy a great atmosphere along with decent food quality.

So from the perspective of Taiwan's cost standards, it's quite impressive!

when in Chiang Mai, you’ll definitely want to explore all sorts of cafés and brunch places.
This time, I visited a café with an old town vibe.

It's surprising to see such a huge water wheel in the outdoor dining area!

this café with such special features is definitely worth a visit!
