Strawberry daifuku and strawberry candied hawthorns are both very popular. Although the strawberries in daifuku are not very sweet, they are large and juicy, paired with red bean filling and the daifuku skin, creating a balanced texture. The strawberries in candied hawthorns are also large and taste delicious with the sugar coating.
The restaurant is located on Dihua Street and often has crowds of people lining up, showcasing its popular atmosphere.
Although the waiting time is longer, customer satisfaction with the products demonstrates the appeal of the service.

This is the first box of strawberry daifuku I bought this year. I’ve been hesitant to buy from other places because I was afraid it wouldn’t taste good. I really liked this place after trying it last year. Last year it was $45 each or $120 for a box of 3, but the packaging was very simple. This year, the packaging has been upgraded and the price has slightly increased.
▪️ Strawberry Daifuku $200 (box/4 pieces)
▪️ Strawberry Tanghulu $40/stick
I went on New Year’s Day around 13:00, and the line didn’t seem very long, but I waited half an hour to get my order. I immediately tried it on-site and it was super delicious!! Although the strawberries weren’t very sweet, they were very juicy and large. The sweetness of the red bean filling paired perfectly with the daifuku skin, which is a balance I personally really enjoy. I will definitely buy it again!
This year, they added tanghulu. Each stick has two strawberries, and they seem to have been carefully selected. Even though there are only two, they are quite large and taste very juicy. Combined with the sugar coating, it’s just right. It’s a bit expensive, but still pretty tasty.
Overall, during this season, I always want to get a daifuku when I visit Dihua Street. I’ve tried many other places before, but none have such good quality. There are actually many different shops nearby, so if anyone’s interested, they can check them out too.
Strawberry Daifuku is a must-have on Dihua Street. As soon as we arrived at the intersection, we saw a huge line of people queuing up.
The strawberries are really big, fresh and juicy, and paired with the unsweetened red bean puree and mochi, it’s so delicious.
A portion of three is not much, but it is just enough for two people.
This is the original store, and it seems that three more stores selling strawberry daifuku have been opened nearby, but there are no crowds at all.
