In Taoyuan, there is a hot pot restaurant that is somewhat difficult to find, hidden deep within a roadside building.
When the elevator door opens again and you step into the hot pot restaurant, it can only be described as a hidden gem. Compared to the environment outside the building, it surprisingly gives off the feeling of Liu Laolao entering the Grand View Garden...

"The Big Star Top-tier Hot Pot"

Although this hot pot restaurant does not offer table-side cooking service, both the meals and the ambiance, as well as the hospitality, allow guests to feel a sense of noble treatment.

🍚 Today's Orders:
👉 National Feast Local Heber Pork (Set Menu NT$890)
👉 Bellota Iberian Black Pork (Set Menu NT$1290)
The dining experience here primarily involves selecting one type of meat, which is then paired with a set meal.
We chose the National Feast Local Heber Pork & Bellota Iberian Black Pork.
Both offer their own merits in terms of meat quality and flavor, but we preferred the Iberian black pork due to its rich fat content and tender texture; it's something you can eat endlessly without getting tired of it.

The set menu items are quite abundant.
The handmade rolls have a chewy texture and can be served on a spoon that can hang over the pot, preventing them from falling in, which is quite clever.
The rice can be upgraded at an additional cost, but you can already enjoy the Hokkaido salmon roe moonlight rice without an upgrade, which is already very cost-effective.
In addition, there's chicken soup, appetizers, daily welcome dishes, and desserts, all of which maintain a certain level of quality, with no significant pitfalls.

As for the soup bases, we chose the Golden Cordyceps Clear Soup & Kanto Sukiyaki, both of which are quite pleasant to drink.
The former is sweet and savory, while the latter features a lighter flavor that allows for drinking as a soup; it is mildly sweet and salty, making for a rather interesting experience.

The presentation of the dishes is quite elegant, and even the sauces are served in small dishes placed within a wooden frame.
Such plating is certainly not necessary, but it's visually pleasing!
Providing emotional value is a good thing; it shows dedication even in simple places. Plus, the staff member who served us was attentive and friendly, making the experience very comfortable. Overall, one can truly feel the restaurant's commitment to treating guests well.

🍚 Summary:
👉 Currently in trial operation, there may still be some adjustments; this experience is based on feedback before formal operations.
👉 It definitely justifies the price; considering the minimum of NT$790 + 10%, it can even be considered very reasonable.
👉 The service, environment, and meals all maintain a good standard, deserving of four stars, and we will definitely return.
