Today I want to share a snack that I've loved since childhood – the "No Name Egg Cake"! It's located at the intersection of Yangming Road and Tianmin Road, right in front of the store at Yangming Road 297. It doesn't have a sign, but it’s full of warmth and friendliness!
🥚 Traditional Egg Cake – 3 for just 10 NT$!
You read that right – 3 for 10 NT$! I always buy 20 NT$ worth (which is 6 pieces), freshly baked and sold right away. The outer shell is slightly crispy, while the inside is moist and fragrant, with a hint of creaminess! The batter is made by the auntie using her own mix of sugar, flour, and milk. Unlike the usual yellowish batters, this one is a warm, natural milky white, clearly made with honest ingredients!
⭕ Red Bean Cake (Wheel Cake) – 10 NT$ each!
There are lots of flavors:
• Red Bean: Dense but not overly sweet
• Taro: Solid and rich, perfect for taro lovers!
