There is no reservation service; instead, they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. You can leave your phone number and wait for them to call you. Fortunately, there was a table available as soon as I arrived.

This is a café transformed from an old house, decorated with some ornaments and floral arrangements, creating an elegant atmosphere. The space utilizes wooden floors and wooden tables and chairs, giving a warm feeling. The tables are not too close together, and there is a small outdoor courtyard where I even spotted a cat, though I'm not sure if it was a stray or one they keep. Overall, the vibe is very relaxed.

In addition to coffee, drinks, and desserts, they also have packaged sweets and gift boxes available for purchase. This time I ordered two desserts to share with a friend. The Earl Grey tea apple baked cheesecake had a rich flavor that wasn't too sweet, and the fresh cream was refreshing, topped with beautifully arranged flowers. The salted caramel cake roll had a unique fresh cream that tasted a bit bittersweet; the cake itself was soft and not dry, paired nicely with the sweet caramel shards and fruit on top, making it quite delicious with a rich and varied flavor.

For drinks, I ordered hot pot milk tea, which came with sugar for self-adjustment. It had a stronger tea flavor than milk and a hint of cinnamon.

Overall, the environment is fantastic and very relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The cakes are quite tasty, and I find their portions generous; a serving comes with two pieces, suitable for sharing. The drinks were okay, and the 90-minute dining time felt a bit short. Currently, they only accept cash, so those planning to visit should keep that in mind. If I have time to visit Chiayi, I would love to come back again.
