The cool skin wraps around bean sprouts, cucumber, crayfish, and peanuts, with a chewy and bouncy texture. The portion is large and healthy. The taste is good, but it could be a little more sour to enhance the appetite.
This store is located in a commercial snack street in Beijing, and takeout customers frequently come to pick up their food, making it seem very busy.
The front desk staff is diligent, continuously making cold skin noodles, and the service efficiency is high.
This store on the commercial snack street in Beijing is quite eye-catching. I notice that there are actually quite a few people picking up takeout here. The staff at the counter are continually making cold noodles and never seem to stop! However, the cold noodles here are a little different from the ones I had before; in the past, the cold noodles were placed in a bag with a sauce that resembles sesame sauce, along with some cucumbers or other cold dishes.
Here, though, the cold noodles are completely wrapped in vegetables, with plenty of bean sprouts, peanuts, and crispy chips added in the middle. I ordered some crayfish, so they were added among the vegetables! The taste is actually quite good, but I think it could be a little more sour to really stimulate the appetite! The overall portion is quite large; I personally believe that if someone has a smaller appetite, two people could share one and it would still be enough! Plus, since it mainly consists of vegetables, it feels pretty healthy!
Overall, I highly recommend it! I personally really enjoy eating cold noodles because I love this chewy texture. I suggest giving it a try as a snack or for afternoon tea for those who also enjoy it!
