The shrimp fried rice is fresh and delicious, the pork rib fried rice has a plain and mild flavor, the sauce of the stir-fried fresh meat is slightly spicy and tasty, and the hot and sour soup is even more flavorful with the vinegar on the table.
Restaurants often have long lines, especially on holidays, and there are usually quite a few people at the entrance, creating a lively atmosphere.
Despite the large number of guests, the staff still maintains a friendly and polite service attitude, making people feel comfortable.
The Beitou MRT station is quite a distance away. If you are taking the MRT, you might consider using Ubike. You can park right across from the entrance. On holidays, queues start forming before 5:30, so remember to arrive a bit earlier; otherwise, you will need to wait for a while. The entrance is on the road, so it’s advised to wait in the empty space of the parking lot across the street.
Regarding the meals:
The fried rice with spare ribs costs NT$160. The ribs are acceptable, but the fried rice is a bit bland and lacks fragrance. Personally, I prefer fried rice that has been stir-fried well and has a nice aroma; it was actually worse than I expected.
The red oil dumplings cost NT$85. The sauce is slightly spicy and delicious. The dumpling skin is tender, and the filling is fresh and sweet. The extra sauce pairs well with the more bland fried rice.
The dining time definitely requires queuing, so we went there well ahead of time. When we arrived, there were already a bunch of people at the door.
Shrimp Fried Rice $140, the shrimp was fresh, and the portion was quite generous. The fried rice was pretty good, though the taste was slightly on the mild side.
Pork Chop Fried Rice $160, the pork chop was a large portion, but I found the taste of the pork chop to be quite ordinary.
Stir-Fried Fresh Meat $85, it was slightly spicy, and I thought the sauce was very tasty. I poured the remaining sauce over the fried rice, and it was especially delicious.
Hot and Sour Soup $55, served with a bottle of vinegar that's available on every table. The soup was a little light red in color, which was quite unique; hot and sour soup really needs vinegar added.
The service attitude of the staff has always been good. After all, restaurants that require a queue often have impatient staff, but the staff here remained very courteous. When it gets crowded, you need to share a table with other customers.
