This meal time is very awkward 😳. It’s after four o’clock in the afternoon. Should it be considered afternoon tea or dinner? Well, let’s classify it as afternoon tea. In this way, you can’t eat until you’re full and can only eat a little. Eat a little, or your dinner will be GG.
I heard that the red oil copycats in this restaurant are very good. I came here today, of course, to try and see if the quality is good enough.
I ordered the red oil Chao Shou noodles. I think the texture of the noodles is good, with moderate softness and hardness, and not too cooked. I personally think that the Chao Shou part is pretty good, quite solid, not too rotten, and the skin is not too bad. Thick, the sauce is a bit sweet and slightly numb, because the red oil is spicy unless you specifically tell it to be. The overall score is 80 points.
The soup part is also quite satisfactory. The wontons in the soup are used to make up for the few noodles in the noodles. 😆. Anyway, I just want to eat the noodles. Everything else is fine.
As an aside, it’s been an hour since I finished my meal and I’m still very thirsty ⋯⋯ There must have been a lot of added seasoning. I drank the entire bottle of water and I still feel very thirsty 😅
In the MRT Zhongshan Junior High School Station and Jinzhou Street area, there are many time-honored snack bars, many of which have delicious food. One night after get off work, I passed by here and saw that the store was almost full of people. As a lover of red oil noodles, I decided to go in and give it a try.
"Dingji Dumplings and Noodles Restaurant" is located on Jinzhou Street, diagonally opposite Longjiang Park, about a 2-minute walk from the MRT Zhongshan Junior High School Station exit.
price
There are a wide variety of meals here, including beef noodles, wonton noodles, mustard pork shredded noodles and other soup noodles. There are also many dry noodles to choose from, as well as dumplings, side dishes and soups.
The price is mid-range, not affordable, but not too expensive either.
Meals
I ordered a red oil hand noodles with chopped green onions and coriander sprinkled on top.
This dish consists of four chai noodles. After the chutney is mixed well, the white noodles and chai noodles are dyed with the color of the chutney.
The sauce uses Sichuan-style peppercorn oil as the base, and is matched with a unique formula carefully prepared by the store. It tastes sweet and spicy, but will not make you want to drink water. The spiciness is moderate.
The hand is large and plump. After biting open, you can feel that the ingredients are solid and the meat is solid but not loose.
After eating this hand noodles, I was actually still a little hungry. For girls, this amount may be just right.
Overall, I will try other dishes next time I come here.
