The shop's angelica mutton vermicelli soup has a nice broth, the mutton slices are fresh, and the portion of vermicelli is sufficient. The blanched water spinach is impressive, and the fried tofu is house-made, tender inside without any greasy taste. The braised pork rice has a strong aroma, but the dried bamboo shoots are a bit too salty and slightly sour, so it is recommended to pair it with plain rice.
The in-store environment is comfortable, with air conditioning available, but only cash payments are accepted.
The service at the store is warm and welcoming, making customers feel at home.
On a平 afternoon around 4 PM in Jinshan, after buying meat buns, I happened to see this restaurant and decided to try it out. The service was friendly, and dining inside with air conditioning was quite comfortable; they only accept cash.
I ordered the herbal lamb with rice noodles, and the broth was quite nice, not too salty. There were a lot of rice noodles, and the lamb was in slices, not too crumbly, and fairly fresh and tasty. You can add more broth.
This time I ordered the blanched vegetables and was pleasantly surprised by the very tender water spinach, which was quite different from what you usually find in restaurants; it was very tasty, though I'm not sure if it was homegrown. The fried tofu was also made by the restaurant, soft on the inside with no oily taste.
I also ordered braised pork rice, and the braised pork was very fragrant and flavorful. Unfortunately, the pickled bamboo shoot was a bit too salty and slightly sour, so I recommend having it with rice.
