The meal includes charcoal-grilled squid and Korean-style creamy risotto pasta with shrimp, as well as pan-seared scallops and clam pasta with shrimp paste. Both dishes have unique flavors and each has its merits; the ingredients are fresh, and the pasta is chewy. The Korean-style creamy risotto pasta is sufficiently portioned, but it can be somewhat rich.
The shop is small and cozy, filled with the atmosphere of a family restaurant. Although it is located in a discreet spot, the number of customers remains steady, showcasing the power of word-of-mouth.
The shop is friendly, and the owner is happy to provide extra services, making people feel right at home with their thoughtful service.
The two of us ordered the following dishes to share 👇🏻
Chargrilled Squid and Shrimp Korean-style Creamy Pasta $405
A whole large squid / two shrimp / Korean creamy sauce / clams / wild mushrooms
Pan-seared Scallops and Shrimp Paste Clam Pasta $415
Four raw-grade scallops / clams / shrimp paste / wild mushrooms / bonito flakes
Both dishes were completely different in flavor, but they were very fragrant and delicious. Besides looking great, the flavors suited our taste, and the ingredients used were very fresh (like scallops and squid). The pasta was chewy and evenly coated with sauce, and the portion was enough to fill a man's stomach, though women might find it a bit more filling.
However, compared to the two flavors, the Korean creamy one felt a bit richer, but the highlight was definitely the super large squid on top, which had a wonderful chargrilled aroma and was extremely tasty. 🤤
An additional A+109
French Fries + Creamy Soup + French Crispy Bread
My friend and I ordered a set to share, and when we asked the owner if he could give us another small bowl, he generously said he would just give us another one directly (we both felt a bit bad and told him it was okay, but we really appreciated his kindness; he was very hospitable💗).
The creamy soup and fries were quite good; I would personally order them again next time. The crispy bread was slightly lacking, with a texture and flavor that fell in between.
