The prices of the red bean cakes at this store are quite reasonable, and the fillings are solid and diverse, with excellent textures and real ingredients in flavors like red bean, meat floss salad, and taro. The taste is rich and not monotonous.
Reason for giving five stars: If this were a blind taste test, I would have guessed around 25 or 30, but the actual score is only 15... is that too exaggerated? (It surprisingly has a lot of quality and isn’t just casually made. This kind of relaxed place is definitely worth supporting when passing by.)
Here’s my ranking from this time. I greedily bought a bunch and ate them over several rounds (yes, I spent all day eating red bean cakes 🙂↕️). I originally thought that at such a low price, it would just be the common type found outside, where the filling is just squeezed in. But I was super surprised when I tried them! You can really taste the quality in several varieties, all with a pleasant texture that makes the flavors not monotonous.
