The quality of the dishes at Yifu is excellent. The broth of the peeled chili chicken noodle soup is unique and rich in layers. The dumplings are easy to eat, and the Matsusaka pork with assorted seasonal vegetables is cooked to a perfect level and seasoned just right, leaving a deep impression.
The One House is located in an old residence, with a warm and textured atmosphere. The lighting creates a healing nighttime experience, offering storytelling and soulful music, making it a great place to relax.
Located on Hangzhou South Road, 壹府 (Yi Fu) is a bar converted from an old house, not far from Zhongzheng Memorial Hall and Dongmen MRT stations. Its location is peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle, combined with the atmosphere of the old house and warm lighting, creating a high-quality nighttime experience. The minimum consumption is 500 NT dollars per person, which can be accumulated through food or drinks.
This time, we decided to come on a night when our friend particularly appreciated the resident singer, Su Wen-shao. The resident singer information for 壹府 is announced on Instagram, and it is advisable to check in advance and make a reservation; performances usually occur from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
We were arranged in the sofa and coffee table area that night. Although the atmosphere was pleasant, it was slightly inconvenient when we wanted to eat noodles or dumplings, so next time we would prefer to choose a normal height table and chair area.
We ordered several appetizers and main dishes, and everything performed well:
The "Spicy Chicken Soup Noodles" had a slightly spicy broth with the unique sweetness of the spicy peeled peppers, being both comforting and rich in flavor, even better than expected.
The "Dumplings" were easy to eat, perfect for enjoying songs while sipping drinks.
The "Matsusaka Pork" and "Mixed Seasonal Vegetables" were cooked perfectly with natural seasoning.
As for the drink menu:
"Zhen's Pure Love": A fruit fragrance of roselle and blackthorn mixed with a sake base, balanced in sourness and sweetness, with an exuberant aroma, very suitable for beginners or those who enjoy a light buzz.
"Aoki Era": The upper layer is matcha cream, and the lower layer is the alcohol body, both visually and in flavor, a novel experience with distinct layers, recommended for those who like unique flavors.
"Yi Fu Iced Tea": Although it has a blend of several spirits (gin, vodka, rum, and aquavit), it provides a light mouthfeel mixed with passion fruit, banana, and black tea, not heavy on the alcohol taste and very smooth.
"Among the Mangoes": Centered around mango and passion fruit, it has a hint of cocoa aroma, like juice but with a slight buzz, recommended for those who enjoy fruity cocktails.
Overall, 壹府 is a place with an excellent atmosphere and a level of food and drink that is not to be overlooked—a musical bar in an old house. Whether you come for the resident singer, to relax with friends over drinks, or simply to find a cozy bar to sit in, this place is definitely worth visiting. For me, that night was not just about good food and drinks but also a healing late-night performance—where the space has stories, the drinks have layers, and the music has soul. I will definitely go back next time!
