This creative vegetarian restaurant serves generous portions at affordable prices. The vegetarian fried rice with mock egg and the egg drop soup are both very delicious, with plenty of ingredients, especially the egg drop soup, which is only 50 TWD but exceptionally rich.
The store environment is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.
The boss is friendly and generous, the cooking skills are outstanding, and the service is satisfactory.
Huge portions! The boss is really generous and has great cooking skills, everything is delicious, and the restaurant is clean. Highly recommended!
Today was my first time at this vegetarian creative cuisine place located in the alley of Mingdao Garden, Mingdao High School. I ordered vegetarian fried rice with scrambled eggs and egg drop soup.
The portions are honestly equivalent to what you'd expect for two people elsewhere, no exaggeration. The egg drop soup, priced at 50 NT dollars, is served in a bowl similar to those used in ramen shops, not a small bowl. Besides the abundant quantity, the ingredients are also very substantial; there must be more than one egg used, and surprisingly, it also includes loofah, potatoes, and wood ear mushrooms—it's so rich! And it’s only 50 NT dollars.
The fried rice portion is surprisingly large as well, costing 80 NT dollars. For those with a big appetite, this is definitely filling, and the ingredients are not skimped on. The vegetarian meat pieces are well-prepared, making them very tasty. They pair nicely with cabbage and broccoli, and the overall texture is just right—not too wet or too dry, and not overly salty.
If you like spicy food, you can add some on-site, and there’s freshly ground pepper available too! There are many different dishes to choose from, and the boss is very generous and straightforward—highly recommended! The only downside is that if you’re not very hungry, you’ll easily feel extremely full.
While eating, I noticed the boss scooping a bowl of rice that looked like a small mountain to prepare for making other dishes—it's really no joke; the rice at this place is something to be amazed by! 😆
