Butterbeer is a non-alcoholic beverage suitable for all ages. It has the flavor of vanilla ice cream paired with soda, slightly on the sweet side, and the frozen version is even more refreshing, perfect for hot weather.
The atmosphere of the Harry Potter park lets people feel the charm of the magical world, especially when enjoying butterbeer, which adds a special sense of experience.
The staff provides thoughtful plastic carry bags for easy cup transportation and includes multiple washbasins for convenient cleaning and taking the cups home.

Every time I go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios (I’ve been to both the Japan and US ones), I always have to get a Butterbeer! This time at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter I couldn’t miss out either. Although it’s called beer, it actually doesn’t contain any alcohol. Besides the regular Butterbeer, this time I also saw a limited edition frozen version (I heard it’s available in spring and autumn, and in winter there’s hot Butterbeer, how special).
▪️FROZEN BUTTERBEER ¥1300
▪️BUTTERBEER ¥1100
It tastes like a sweet beverage and I think the foam on top is really delicious. 😆 This is my first time trying the frozen version and I think it tastes better than the regular one (?).
Overall, for me, Butterbeer is all about the experience, because you can only get it at this kind of park (the key point is the clear cup). Especially at the theme park, the cups can be washed clean and taken home, how can you not have a cup? The staff even thoughtfully provide a small bag for you to pack it after washing. If I encounter it again, I’m likely to have another drink!
Braces Person Review: The restroom is very clean, awesome!
Butterbeer is a classic magical beverage from the original "Harry Potter" series. Not only is it a favorite among wizards, but it also attracts many Muggles eager to try this unique flavor. It is a non-alcoholic drink, so both adults and children can enjoy it without worry. There are three options for butterbeer: the regular version is available all year, frozen butterbeer is available from spring to fall, and hot butterbeer is a winter exclusive. This time, we ordered two drinks: one butterbeer for 1100 yen and one frozen butterbeer for 1300 yen, totaling 2400 yen. When picking up the order, the staff kindly provided a plastic bag so we could safely carry the cups home. Butterbeer's taste is smooth, with vanilla ice cream on top and soda at the bottom, although it is overall on the sweeter side. Of the two options, frozen butterbeer, with its slushy texture, is more suitable for hot weather and offers a more refreshing taste.
