Braces Person Review: The Restroom is Outside

This Yappari Steak restaurant located on the second floor of the ASHIBINAA Outlet in Okinawa attracted me because of its good reviews on Google Maps, but I personally do not recommend it.

First of all, the restaurant uses a self-service ordering machine, which is relatively easy to operate, especially since it has a Chinese interface that is very convenient for tourists. After placing an order, you have to pay directly, and the machine will issue a receipt that you can hand to the staff to start preparing your meal. The self-service bar provides white rice, multigrain rice, shredded cabbage, ramen noodles, and soup, all of which you can take yourself, which is good for those looking to fill up, but the quality of the ingredients is not particularly impressive.

We ordered two meals, one being the signature steak and the other a combination of steak with a hamburger patty. When the steak arrived, it was served on a heated iron plate, allowing customers to adjust the doneness, which is a fairly unique aspect, but the meat quality was truly disappointing. The signature steak was tough and hard to chew, and the texture was off, making it taste very ordinary. The hamburger patty looked solid but fell apart when cut, and the flavor was mediocre. Both main dishes were quite salty, almost requiring no additional seasoning from the condiments on the table.

In addition, there was also a noticeable issue with smoke; the whole restaurant was filled with fumes, and the exhaust system was inadequate. Plus, oil from the grill easily splattered everywhere, and although they provided bibs, the overall experience was still quite uncomfortable.

In summary, the food and dining environment at this restaurant did not meet expectations. Although it's an outlet restaurant, I do not recommend going out of your way to visit it. If you're just hungry and looking for a place to fill your stomach, you might want to consider other options.
