Today, I went to Big City in Hsinchu for a stroll. It's inevitable to feel thirsty when shopping, so I specifically took a detour to the food court on the first basement level to buy a drink to cool off. This shop, Matsu New Village, caught my eye. There were many people, but I still lined up to buy a series of their recommended drinks. The sign has their best-selling drinks, so if you don’t know what to drink, you can refer to it like I did!

I was eager to try all the drinks on the sign 😵‍💫, but today I chose the Watermelon Lychee Red, which felt perfect for summer. I initially thought the watermelon flavor would come from watermelon syrup or something similar, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the staff use a whole cup of fresh watermelon in the blender. This greatly increased my appreciation for the drink. Overall, it tasted like fresh, pulp-free watermelon juice blended with a fragrant lychee flavor. The first sip felt a bit mismatched (?), but the more I drank, the smoother it became. However, I think the price is a bit high, but if anyone is interested, you should definitely give it a try!
