The portion of lamb in the lamb hot pot is generous, with not too many bones, and the meat is not excessively large or difficult to chew, making it very popular among customers. The lamb meatballs are highly recommended, unique and delicious. The broth can be refilled, is flavorful, and不会让人感到口渴.
During the evening dining hours, the number of people gradually increases. The restaurant offers charcoal-grilled lamb stew, creating a unique atmosphere. After dining, you can take a walk to the nearby Longtan Big Pond to enhance your dining experience.
Ordered the lamb hotpot for $320, and added cabbage, dumplings, lamb meatballs, shiitake mushrooms, frozen tofu, and baby bok choy. Two people were very full, there was a lot of lamb meat, and very few bones—mostly meat, which was delightful. The pieces weren't too big and easy to chew, I really liked it 🥰. There's also a special soy milk sauce for dipping.
I recommend the lamb meatballs; they are similar to pork meatballs but a bit different, and they're quite tasty—something you usually don't find outside, so it's worth a try.
You can refill the soup; it's very good, and drinking it doesn't leave you feeling thirsty.
We went for dinner at 5:30 PM, and there weren't many people. By the time we finished around 7 PM, it got busier. The lamb hotpot uses charcoal for cooking, giving it a different flavor. The portion sizes for the added ingredients were generous, and the total for two people was just $710, which is great value—less than $400 each.
If you're craving lamb hotpot in the cold, I highly recommend this place. After eating, you can take a stroll by the nearby Longtan Large Pond to help with digestion.
