The beef hot pot and osmanthus lemon juice at this restaurant have a harmonious flavor and a rich texture. In particular, the black sugar snow fungus dessert and osmanthus cheesecake have been favored by the guests.
The restaurant is located on Laojie Street in Nanzhuang, Miaoli. There are a few indoor seating options, making it suitable for a short break after shopping. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly.
The staff is very enthusiastic and attentive in introducing the products, but you might need to wait a little during busy times.

Located on the old street of Nan Zhuan, Miaoli, it's not Guizhi Lane but rather the surrounding shops. There is also a store in Touwen. Initially, I saved this place after seeing a YouTube introduction about their must-try "Beef Nest," which seemed very special. Below are the items I purchased on that day in the store.
▪️Beef Nest $90
·Burnt Tangxi·Brown Sugar Ginger Juice·Peanut Sesame·Brown Sugar Snow Pear Ice·Osmanthus Pudding·Osmanthus Ferment·Brown Sugar Powder
A small cup with many ingredients! "Burnt Tangxi" is Hakka dialect, meaning boiled glutinous rice cake, named for its belly-button-like shape. The overall flavor is very harmonious, with many layers of texture. The main components are the creamy brown sugar snow pear ice and the tasty osmanthus-flavored pudding—which are both really good—along with the essential Tangxi (burnt tangxi), making it feel like I've captured the essence of Miaoli Nan Zhuan! 😆
▪️Osmanthus Lemon Juice $70
Halfway through the beef nest, I suddenly wanted something to drink. I tried the osmanthus ferment; although not too sweet, it felt like something was missing. In the end, I ordered this bottle and found it super delicious!!! It's not too sour or too sweet, achieving a very balanced taste. It’s refreshing and good enough that I want to take a bottle home, haha.
▪️Osmanthus Ferment Handy Pack (10 pieces) $182
I noticed when buying it that the shelf life is relatively short. Made last November, it can be stored at room temperature until the end of May and refrigerated for an extra six months. I later found out it was clearance for near expiration. The original price was $260. Since I liked the osmanthus lemon juice, I decided to buy this to brew at home. I was worried that cans sometimes aren’t easy to carry or store, so this handy pack feels much more convenient (I only got a picture of the pretty paper bag they gave me after the purchase).
Overall, I really like this place! There are a few seats for dining in, so if you get tired from shopping, you can rest a bit. The staff is quite enthusiastic and dedicated in their introductions. Sometimes there are many people, and you might need to wait a bit for ordering and explanations. Honestly, I’m not a fan of floral flavors in any food, but there’s simply so much osmanthus here that I decided to give it a try, and I really liked the flavors of the items I had.
