The desserts at this restaurant have a variety of combinations to choose from. The round rice balls are freshly cooked and chewy, while the crispy balls have a unique texture, and the peanuts are creamy, but the portions are a bit small. The syrup is on the sweeter side, but you can request less sugar.
The restaurant uses a self-service payment method, so there is no need to wait when visiting on weekday afternoons, making the overall dining experience relaxed and comfortable.

After finishing the main meal, let’s have some dessert!
Even though it's December, it’s still perfect for having some ice.
Visiting in the afternoon on a weekday, there’s not much of a wait.
The payment method is to put in cash and get change yourself.
The price has gone from 25 NT dollars before to the current price of 40 NT dollars per bowl.
There are options for flavors including tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), mung bean, red bean, peanut, crispy balls, and mixed.
You can mix and match, order individually, or just select a mixed bowl.
This time, I chose the three types: “peanut, tangyuan, and crispy balls.”
The tangyuan is freshly cooked and has a chewy texture, while the crispy balls have a very special crunch.
The peanuts are creamy but there’s not much of it; it’s really not enough to satisfy.
The ice with sweet syrup is a bit too sweet for me.
Next time I visit, I might ask them to use less syrup.
In summary, if you come to Beigang, it’s worth a try!
