Jin Zong Jia Korean Cuisine is located on the 4th floor of the Rainbow Mart at Zuoying Station of the High-Speed Rail. It belongs to the food court type of restaurant, with no dedicated seating. Ordering is done at the counter, and customers can pay using cash or mobile payment. Receipts can be collected, and once the vibrating number device goes off, customers pick up their orders themselves.

It’s rare to go to Kaohsiung on weekends; after arriving at the station, it was already around 1 PM. I initially wanted to eat at Beicun Tofu House, but there was a long line at the entrance. After wandering around the food court, I ultimately chose Jin Zong Jia, another Korean restaurant, not realizing it had a rather low rating on Google Maps. Since I had already ordered, I decided to try it.

Today, I ordered the following:
🔸 Korean Tofu Hot Pot $158
The starch I chose was glass noodles, which were extremely thick and difficult to chew. The portion of ingredients was relatively okay for the price, including slices of meat, tofu, and some hot pot ingredients. The broth was light, and I don't understand why they added fried shallots? Isn’t it supposed to have a Korean flavor?
🔸 Cheese Budae Jjigae $168
The main starch was instant noodles, and the ingredients were quite similar to the tofu hot pot, with the addition of rice cakes and small hot dogs. However, the broth had a strange taste, which was quite different from the budae jjigae I had eaten before.

Overall, the price was acceptable, but the food wasn't very tasty and felt lacking in effort and uniqueness; it was only enough to fill my stomach.
