The price of papaya milk is on the higher side, and the half-sugar option has a milder taste. The ice is crushed, and the overall texture is smooth.
Located at Sanhe Night Market, although prices have risen, the nostalgic flavor is appealing, and the environment is convenient.
The staff are friendly, and the store thoughtfully prepares garbage bags, providing convenient services and environment.
There is only one item, one cup for $70, three cups for $200.
🔹Papaya Milk
🔅 In the middle of the night market, it’s a famous papaya milk place in San Chong, but it tastes quite ordinary and I wouldn’t want to visit again.
Market Street Papaya Milk Specialty Store (established in 1979)
One cup: $70, three cups: $200.
The price has increased from three cups for $110 to the current price, which is quite a change, but the polite staff still makes one feel welcome. You can choose half sugar or no sugar, but the half-sugar option tastes a bit diluted like it's been watered down, and the flavor is somewhat light. The ice is the crushed type, which makes it fairly easy to drink.
Next to the store, they thoughtfully provided a trash bag, and in a bustling place like the Sanhe Night Market, it’s one of the few stalls that have a trash bag, which is commendable. Although the price isn’t cheap, if I pass by and feel nostalgic for a drink, I still can’t resist stopping by to buy a cup.
