Chinese | NT$120~NT$120

AI Spot Summary

This small soup dumpling specialty shop, "Long Bao Bao," is located in the Lehua Night Market and has its own storefront. The overall style is similar to a dumpling shop but is more modern and youthful. The store environment is cramped, but there are still a few seats available for dining in. Most people choose to take their food to go or eat quickly and leave.

Lehua Night Market during the night is still very lively. Since the weather is still a bit hot, I decided to enjoy my late-night snack inside the shop.

I might have arrived a bit late, as there were only steamed soup dumplings left to choose from. This time, I ordered a total of eight steamed dumplings, but they are actually not small at all and cannot fit entirely in the mouth; they are not "mini soup dumplings," as they have no thin skin and a lot of soup. Instead, the skin is thick, and the pork filling is quite generous.

The filling doesn’t have any fishy taste, but the particularly strong wheat flavor of the skin pairs well with some sauce for seasoning. Therefore, I added some condiments from the sauce area, which indeed enhanced the flavor and made it more delicious.

Next time, I might want to try the pan-fried version; it may be even more fragrant after being fried in oil. Although the layout is not easy to navigate because of the small store, remember to clean up your takeout boxes and food scraps after your meal, or the owner might be quite bothered.
