The coffee quality here is excellent, especially the Kyoto latte. The hot version has a smooth texture, the milk foam is delicate, and the latte art is very beautiful. The croissant is soft and pairs nicely with the chocolate sauce, but the price is a bit high.
The interior decoration of the shop is predominantly white, fresh and fashionable, allowing customers to enjoy coffee in a comfortable environment. There are benches outside for a short rest, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
%ARABICA Coffee’s only store in Taiwan is located near the Elephant Mountain trailhead. It’s a great place to buy a cup after climbing Elephant Mountain to comfort yourself for your hard work.
Because a friend gave me an 8oz brand mug from %ARABICA, I decided to stop by this famous coffee shop when I was hiking Elephant Mountain.
The entire store is decorated in white as the main color, giving people a fresh and comfortable feeling while still being fashionable. There is an exhibition hall inside the store to display brand peripheral products; there are rows of seats inside and outside the store for customers to take a short break and enjoy coffee. There were many visitors on Sunday afternoon
Kyoto Latte Hot 8oz $170 / Iced 12oz $185
The coffee beans are a little sour, and Kyoto Latte has more condensed milk than regular coffee latte, so it’s slightly sweeter, which is just right for me.
The iced Kyoto latte felt quite acidic when I took the first sip. I didn’t like it that much, but the more I drank it, the smoother it became. The hot Kyoto latte tasted smoother because of the milk foam, and had beautiful latte art.
If I had to choose, I prefer hot ones!
Chocolate croissant $120
The croissant is quite big, and the inner layer is relatively loose. It is just right with the silky chocolate sauce filling. It is delicious, but the price is too high.
Overall, the latte is really delicious, but the price is too expensive. It’s ok to try it, but it’s not a coffee shop I would visit often.
The coffee shop I came to Kyoto for pilgrimage to is located on the slope of the Xiangshan trailhead. The traffic is very inconvenient. I don’t know how such a famous shop could be opened here😂
It's only open until 18:30. I came here today on a holiday evening before closing. It was crowded but you can order without queuing.
There are benches inside and outside the store entrance that can seat about 8 people. They are all takeaway cups. This cup is also my strongest impression of this store. The brand also has a lot of peripheral products displayed in the store, all in the same white color, so beautiful!
The latte art is super beautiful, and you can see the barista's latte art up close. I ordered an 8 oz hot latte. The only difference between 8 oz and 12 oz is the amount of milk. The clerk recommended the 8 oz. The coffee taste is indeed better than the usual latte. It stands out a lot, I like it very much, and the milk foam is also very delicate and dense ~ Highly recommend for good coffee
