There are famous noodle shops in Taichung, but I personally feel that they are a bit over-the-top. For the tomato noodle soup series, I think I can find a shop with a richer soup and more substantial ingredients (it may also be because I don’t like the traditional very thin and bland soup base.) There are foreign restaurants. Bring dinner - a bowl of salted fish fried rice, which is not bad and quite dry, but my friend said it tastes too salty.
