At the South Liao Fishing Port in Bochong City, there is a fried food stall that seafood lovers can't resist stopping by—Yuxiu Feast World, which specializes in freshly fried seafood and fried items. Hidden among many snacks, it stands out due to its freshness, frying technique, and friendly service.

The stall features a variety of freshly fried seafood and classic fried items, ranging from fried oysters, squid, dragon balls, and squid legs to sweet potatoes, French fries, green beans, and cuttlefish balls. You can freely mix and match to create a combo platter of fried items, with generous portions suitable for sharing among multiple people.

On my first visit, I ordered a mixed platter with four types of seafood, including fried oysters, squid, dragon balls, and squid legs, paired with a serving of French fries. The four seafood items cost 250 NT dollars, while the fries were 50 NT dollars. The fried food is cooked to order and the seafood is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, locking in its original flavor, and it is not greasy at all. The seasoning is mild, especially complemented by a touch of spiciness and garlic, offering a rich aroma without overpowering the main flavors, and it has great depth.

On my second visit, I chose a mixed platter with three types of seafood this time, costing 200 NT dollars, plus 50 NT dollars for cuttlefish balls and 50 NT dollars for sweet potatoes. The cuttlefish balls were crispy on the outside and elastic on the inside, with obvious chunks of cuttlefish, making for a solid texture; the sweet potatoes were fried to a slightly crispy exterior while remaining creamy inside, providing natural sweetness, making them a perfect snack alongside the main meal.

Recommended must-try items include fried oysters, squid, squid legs, and dragon balls, especially the oysters, which are rich in flavor and have a fragrant crispy coating, earning praise even from friends who rarely eat fried oysters.

As for seasoning, you can adjust the spiciness and whether you want garlic based on personal preference; I chose a mild spiciness with garlic fragrance, which is an excellent pairing with beer.

Overall, this place performs well beyond many surrounding fried food shops, satisfying in terms of freshness, flavor control, pricing, and serving sizes. If you visit South Liao Fishing Port, don’t miss out on this hidden gem of delicious fried seafood, truly a hidden treasure on the South Liao food map.
