Location: Near Zhengda, about a three-minute walk away. (Google Maps pin is at the alley entrance, but the actual location is in the middle of Pun Street, across from Blood Bowl Spicy Hotpot)
Dining Environment: Average, with two or three small tables for dining in.
Ordering Method: After selecting your items, hand them to the owner. You only settle the bill after the food is cooked.

If you spend over $120, you get a complimentary dish. Once the owner finishes cooking, they will ask if you want scallions, garlic, and chili peppers. Personally, I find the chili peppers to be very spicy, so those who don’t eat spicy food should consider adding them with caution (I usually eat mild spiciness).
You usually have to wait during meal times; this time the wait was about 20-30 minutes, so it’s not suitable for those in a hurry.
Next to the counter is a $10 section with various items like vegetables and offal, and there are often pleasant surprises 💛

Today I ordered enoki mushrooms, vermicelli, cabbage, black fungus, eggplant, onion, a specific kind of QQ hot pot ingredient, and a type of pork offal.

I personally love this place for braised dishes, but I’ve eaten there so often last semester that I got a bit tired of it, so I haven’t been going as frequently lately. Honestly, it is a bit pricey, and to meet the $120 requirement, I often end up ordering too much 🤣 That said, I still crave braised dishes (to be honest, I think this type of dish is more like spicy hot pot) or when I want to eat more vegetables, I still come here.
There’s another place nearby called “Healthy Braised Dishes,” but I’ve heard the environment is a bit… For the sake of my stomach, I haven’t considered trying it yet.
