Located in the Ruifeng Night Market in Kaohsiung. I checked and found out there are other branches, but this one doesn’t have a Google landmark. It’s a must-try family dish at the night market: pepper bun. I happened to see it and bought one to give it a try.

▪️One pepper bun for $50
The dough is thick but fragrant, and the meat is seasoned just like a regular pepper bun. Unfortunately, several had already been baked on-site, and it felt like they had been sitting for a while. When I got mine, it wasn’t hot; bringing it back to the guesthouse made it even colder. However, you can tell the dough is really good. But the food temperature was disappointing, so overall, I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
