Located on Linsen Road, I pass by it every time I go to buy 50 Lan. However, my parents used to say that the taste is just like a regular Taiwanese steak, and it’s more expensive than other places. So I never considered Sun Dong Bao when I wanted to eat steak.
This time, I noticed a big teddy bear displayed at the entrance of the shop. (Anyone who has seen Mr. Bean should love it, right? XD) It said that if you wanted it, you could go inside and ask. So I walked into Sun Dong Bao for the first time. After I asked, the owner said the children didn’t want it anymore, but the genuine one was still new, and they wanted to see if anyone liked it. The owner then directly gave it to us. ٩۹(๑•̀ω•́ ๑)۶
Around 4 PM on a weekday, there were only two groups of customers. I love places that don’t take breaks between lunch and dinner. It’s great to find food even during non-meal hours. The restaurant is bright and spacious, mainly decorated in black and red. The seats are also quite large, and there's a soda machine and corn soup.
When ordering, you can choose to have noodles or swap for an egg (super great!). It comes with a dinner roll that has filling inside. It’s hot when it’s fresh out of the oven, so be careful. It’s really delicious—with such good taste that Sun Dong Bao even sells their dinner rolls separately.
