Generally, I don't have much confidence in American bakeries, mainly because their desserts tend to be overly sweet. However, after trying a Danish pastry 🥧 here last time, I felt inspired to give this bakery a chance. Perhaps even though it’s located in America, the name "Little Denmark" could encourage them to use less sugar.

When I arrived at the store, the atmosphere wasn't very welcoming, as all the staff were chatting and didn’t pay much attention to what we were looking for. Even when we were ready to order, they continued to focus on their own conversations. It wasn't until we had to call them that they actually came over to assist us. In the end, we ordered all of the items that were highly recommended.

When I took my first bite, I didn't really taste pistachio; instead, it was overwhelmingly almond-flavored. The almond flavor combined with the pistachio was actually quite pleasant, but the almond flavor overshadowed the pistachio, which was supposed to be the star. It was also still a bit too sweet, so I could only handle a small piece at a time; it actually took me three attempts to finish it.

Overall, I thought it was just average. If I were in the area again, I might choose another Danish bakery. This bakery is really one you could skip without missing anything, but if you have a sweet tooth, you might want to give it a try. After all, they do use less sugar than other American bakeries, but in Taiwan, it would still be considered a high-sugar bakery. So, it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves!
