The meal includes smoked salmon, sesame leaves, fruit-glazed chicken wings, and a burger. The quality is excellent, the portions are ample, and the flavors are balanced, which is impressive. The only issue is that the burger is a bit too hefty, so it's recommended to use burger paper when eating it.
The interior has a strong Japanese style, and although the space is small, it is comfortable with a reasonable arrangement of tables. The dining atmosphere is relaxed, customers converse softly, and the overall environment blends into the local area, creating a pleasant feeling.
The use of QR CODE ordering is a semi-self-service method, with limited interaction with the staff. Although the service is not particularly special, the experience is naturally comfortable.

Waku Waku is derived from the Japanese word "わくわく," which represents excitement and anticipation. It perfectly captures my feelings the first time I tried Waku Waku's dishes. 🥳
This visit was to the branch located in the Wuxing shopping district. The storefront has a strong Japanese style, but it also blends into the environment, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. 😞
About the Environment
Although the space inside is not large, the table arrangements are reasonable, with plenty of distance between tables, making for a very comfortable dining experience. In the middle of the restaurant, there’s a self-service area for utensils, burger paper, lemonade, and other items.
Perhaps due to the decor style, each diner speaks in hushed tones, which makes for a rather interesting experience, though there isn’t a specific rule about having to talk quietly. 😆
About the Food
The dishes are truly impressive, living up to the expectations set by the name "わくわく."
From the unique aroma of the smoked salmon and sesame leaves in the appetizers to the sweet and tangy flavors of the fruit-glazed chicken wings, everything serves as a unique introduction.
Each burger comes with sides and potato wedges, and the portions are quite generous; both of us left feeling full. 😇
The flavor of the burgers is very satisfying, with a perfect balance between the sauce and the meat patty. Because of this balance, we finished them quickly. However, the burgers could be slightly better... They are quite hefty and may be a bit difficult to eat with just a knife and fork; I recommend using the burger paper provided by the restaurant for a more comfortable dining experience. ✨
About the Service
The ordering method is still via QR code, a semi-self-service approach, which means there isn’t much interaction with the staff. We didn’t experience any special service, but as the saying goes, "the ordinary is the greatest beauty," and I think this is already the best experience. 👍
Also, please note that they only accept cash and Taiwan Pay; other common mobile payment options are not yet supported here. ~
