The dishes in this restaurant mainly feature Korean bibimbap, but the overall taste is quite greasy, with little meat and mostly potatoes, making it feel more like a way to fill the stomach rather than enjoy good food.
The staff in the store are very warm and introduce the dishes with a smile. Many services are in a self-service format, so there aren't too many issues.
Actually, when I looked at the place from outside, I didn't want to go in to eat, but for some reason, my dad was a bit interested. Maybe it was because he hadn’t had white rice in a while, so he wanted to go in and eat something familiar! The staff inside were quite enthusiastic, smiling and introducing the dishes to us. Basically, many things were self-service, so it wasn’t too much of a problem!
We simply ordered one dish, mainly because the food in mainland China has been too greasy for our taste, and we didn’t really feel like eating anything too rich…
When the dish arrived, it indeed matched our thoughts; it seemed that after scooping the ingredients to the edges, the whole bowl was just oil, and there wasn’t much meat—mostly potatoes. It felt like it was just meant to fill you up rather than to be a good meal…
Of course, I personally won’t be going back again, but the restaurant seemed to be doing well; perhaps other dishes would taste better than the one we ordered!
