Shi Er Pot has always been a good choice when you don't know what to eat, as it allows you to consume enough vegetables and is affordable and delicious.

This time, I chose the beef and fish dual feast with the spicy sister hot pot broth ($288 + broth $30), and I selected the love jia vegetable, paired with a large vegetable platter.

The quality of Shi Er Pot has remained stable; it's been a while since I last ate here, and the vegetable platter was still large and fresh. However, this time I felt that the spicy sister hot pot broth tastes a bit different, having a stronger flavor of fermented bean paste and it was a bit too salty. Compared to before, I prefer the older broth.

The beef and fish dual feast consists of snowflake beef and snapper, which has no fishy smell. Cooking it in the spicy soup with the vermicelli underneath is very tasty 😋. The snowflake beef is also good, but the slices are quite thin… I don’t remember them being this thin before, so I can’t help but wonder if it's because I haven’t eaten here in so long or if it's a difference between the northern and southern locations or branches.

As for the environment, it’s spacious and bright, with plenty of seating. During meal times, there's usually a wait of over an hour, so I specifically chose a weekday afternoon, yet there were still three groups ahead of me despite many empty tables in the store. We ended up waiting around 10-15 minutes.
Once I entered, I noticed that there was obviously a lack of staff, as many empty tables were not cleaned, and some even remained messy until we finished our meal and left 😓.

Based on this dining experience, the quality has slightly declined. However, due to the high cost-performance ratio, many branches, and a well-established app reservation system, I would still revisit when I don’t know what to eat, though I might reduce the frequency of visits to this particular branch.
