The variety of dishes is rich, ranging from spicy marinated ladder to cherry duck. The spicy marinated ladder has a chewy and flavorful texture, while the crispy three-layer pork is tender without losing its texture. The French cherry duck is neither oily nor dry, definitely worth a try. There are many options for the soup base, with the pepper pork bone soup being rich and the spicy hot pot base being moderately spicy.
▶ Special Recommendations for Skewers ◀
Spicy Braised Ladder: This is the first time I've tried this cut, and it’s super cool. It looks crispy, but it has a nice chew to it! It's also very tender and flavored well.
Crispy Pork Belly: Even though the crispy skin loses its crispness after soaking in the pot, it still has a nice chew!! Plus, the meat doesn’t become mushy, highly recommended~
▶ French Cherry Duck $320 ◀
It’s the first time I’ve seen a spicy skewer shop selling duck, and there are a lot of slices! It doesn't have much fat, but it definitely doesn’t taste dry at all!
▶ Exploding Lemon Tea - Pot $350 ◀
The lemon flavor is very fragrant, refreshing, and the tea taste is not bitter or astringent.
▶ Soup Base $149 per person ◀
For the non-spicy soup, you can choose "Sunshine Tomato Soup" or "Pepper Pork Bone Soup." We chose the pepper pork bone soup, which is very rich in flavor and feels like it’s been simmered with a lot of herbs, making it taste more like the Four Gods Soup!
The spicy hot pot base is also made with a lot of herbs, and overall it has a slight spicy kick, but it's not overwhelmingly spicy. The numbing sensation can make your lips tingle~ The soup base has a slight sweetness to it!
