Sukiya's gyudon (beef bowl) is very popular, with plenty of beef paired with the newly released yuzu vinegar radish paste; however, the radish paste is a bit too cold, affecting the texture of the beef. For the grilled fish breakfast, choosing salmon paired with a raw egg and white rice is also good, but the side dishes are somewhat monotonous.
I saw Sukiya's breakfast share on Instagram, and since I had a free slot before 10 AM, I decided to sit down and have breakfast! Sukiya is really focused on beef, so since I don't eat beef, I directly chose the grilled fish breakfast. You can choose between salmon or mackerel for the grilled fish, and the raw egg is an additional purchase (the beef breakfast can be exchanged for free).
The salmon is a bit salty, but it's just perfect when paired with the raw egg and white rice! The raw egg tasted very fresh, but the egg flavor itself was quite ordinary. The side dishes were a bit boring since I didn't understand them, but the miso soup was delicious.
If you can't think of anything to eat, come here and eat Sukiya! Personally, I think the beef bowl among the three restaurants is the most delicious.
This time I tried the new yuzu vinegar radish puree beef bowl. The value bowl allows you to eat a lot of beef without eating too much starch. It is very suitable for people who don’t want to eat so much rice! The grated radish itself tastes good, but the problem is that it is too cold. When you put it on the beef bowl, the beef becomes cold. I prefer to eat hot beef.
Will return to the regular beef bowl + beer next time🍻
