In terms of the meal, most dishes like the baked mushroom cube bread and Wellington steak have a rich flavor, but they tend to be on the salty side. The dessert, such as the pineapple Basque cheesecake, has a moderate sweetness, and there is a variety of beverage options.
The staff were friendly and eager to assist, especially in providing thoughtful arrangements and a group photo during the birthday celebration, making the dining experience enjoyable.
Xiti is the first brand I came into contact with under the Wang Pin Group. I've dined here several times, and this is my first time dining at this branch.
Food:
Baked Mushroom Cubes - the rich white mushroom sauce paired with slightly warm cube bread is quite tasty. You can get free refills if you like, but the portion is really too much, so I've given up every time.
I had a sip of the Bacon Pumpkin Soup, and it was quite rich.
Onion Soup with Garlic Bread - I found the onion soup quite good. The garlic bread has a hard and crispy texture, which I don't particularly like, but it can be dipped in the soup. Personally, I think it goes better with the rich soup.
Wellington Steak - beef with truffle mushroom sauce wrapped in puff pastry. The meat feels a bit softer than Frankfurter, but it tastes a bit salty.
Pineapple Basque Cheesecake - the Basque cheesecake has several chunks of pineapple filling. Overall, it still has the taste of Basque cake, and the sweetness is okay, but I think I prefer the original flavor.
For drinks, my friend ordered Sugar Cane Oolong Tea, which is slightly sweet and refreshing. I ordered the Brûlée Fragrant Red, which has a milk cap on the red tea and has caramel that is caramelized, like the top layer of a brûlée. It tastes quite sweet and rich, but it's a bit heavy for summer.
I forgot to mention at the reservation that it was for a birthday celebration, but when I saw the little girl at the table next to us with her cake and birthday hat, I told the staff, and they quickly arranged it for us and even took several group photos. Thank you for their patience.
Overall, the dining experience was good. There are quite a few red lines for parking nearby, and I even saw the police issuing tickets while dining. I recommend parking in a nearby parking lot and walking over.
