You can enjoy high-quality Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu and premium kalbi, and the presentation with a treasure box and dry ice is also appealing. The grilled vegetables and bibimbap are delicious too.
The restaurant features a private room with a calm atmosphere and impressive theatrical presentations of the dishes.
Prepare the charcoal grill and provide the sauce and lemon juice promptly.
I went to the number one popular yakiniku restaurant in Nakamozu, Hibi no Tei 🐮.
The restaurant is called Hibi no Tei Nakamikuzan, and it's just a short walk from Nakamozu Station on various train lines 🚃.
We had a semi-private seating area✨.
They prepared a shichirin (a small charcoal grill) for us and brought sauce for the grilled meat and lemon juice 🍋.
I chose a light drink, oolong tea✨.
The Yakiniku Tamatebako (yakiniku treasure box) 🐮 was presented in a beautiful box, and when I opened the lid, dry ice came out along with flowers, creating a magical and beautiful sight😍.
We had Kagoshima Kuroge Wagyu, specially selected loin 🐮. It was so fatty it cooked with flames🔥. It was rich in fat, tender, and delicious🐮.
The special Kainomi 🐮 was firm in texture and quite satisfying and delicious🐮.
The special premium Kalbi 🐮 was rich in fat and also delicious🐮. It was tender, rich, and had an exceptional mouthfeel.
The Wagyu Sudare Yaki 🐮 was incredibly thick‼️. The cuts were beautifully done 🤩. We grilled it and cut it into pieces to eat, and it was rich in fat and very tasty🐮.
The thickly sliced tongue 🐮 was well-cut and very satisfying‼️. It was delicious on its own, and adding lemon juice made it refreshing and even more enjoyable 🍋. Every cut was rich, tender, and delicious✨. The light yakiniku sauce was tasty, but personally, I loved the rock salt 🧂.
Grilled vegetables (four kinds):
Onion 🧅, sweet potato, king oyster mushrooms 🍄, and pumpkin 🎃 were all grilled nicely over charcoal and delicious✨. They paired wonderfully with the yakiniku sauce.
Wagyu Aburi Yukhoe 🐮 (beef tartare) had shredded yukhoe topped with an egg yolk. We broke the yolk and mixed it in before eating 🥚. Both the sauce and the egg yolk were rich, clinging to the beef and incredibly delicious🐮.
Seasonal Namul 🥬 was spinach namul🥬. It had a strong sesame flavor and was tasty🥬.
Fire Stone Grilled Bibimbap 🔥 was served in a hot stone bowl 🔥. It had rice 🍚, namul, egg yolk, seaweed, and gochujang all mixed together and was incredibly delicious!! The crispy bits at the bottom were also delicious 🔥. It was filling and an amazing price at 990 yen‼️
I was completely satisfied with the quality of the delicious meat at a reasonable price‼️
Considering the quality and cost performance, it’s no surprise it’s a popular place‼️
Although Nakamozu is a bit far, I think it’s worth the trip 🥰.
