The spicy hot pot base and the three-flavor soup base at Haidilao are very popular, especially the must-order dishes such as the Laopai sliced beef and shrimp slices, along with free side dishes and fruits, which ensure that everyone feels full.
The atmosphere at the Kaohsiung Dayuanbai store is relaxed and enjoyable, with noodle tossing and face-changing performances adding entertainment to the dining experience, along with unique activities like karaoke and chewing on sugarcane.
The staff is very attentive, even providing manicure vouchers after the manicurist's shift, making customers feel deeply cared for.
The first time singing KTV and gnawing on sugarcane at Haidilao was at the Far Eastern Department Store in Kaohsiung✨. It's not difficult to make a reservation (you can use inline booking).
The noodle performance is the best I've experienced among all the branches I've been to, and the face-changing show also has an LED version, which makes me feel like Haidilao just keeps getting better and better!!!
When we were about to draw for the manicure number, the nail technician was ready to finish work, but she was especially apologetic and gave us a manicure voucher. The service in this regard was truly commendable.
As usual, we ordered a few must-haves: blood stew, Haidilao signature beef, spicy sour noodles, shrimp paste, brown sugar glutinous rice cakes, plus some basic hot pot ingredients and vegetables.
For the soup base, we chose spicy and three-flavor (this time we found out that the minced meat soup they served us actually had scallops in it!).
For four people, it was about 700 each. Additionally, there were some free appetizers, fruits, and ice cream to choose from, so no need to worry about not being full~
This is Haidilao located on the 8th floor of Dayuan 100, Kaohsiung. Haidilao is a well-known spicy hotpot brand in China. It has branches in many department stores in Taiwan. Personally, I go to Tainan Nanfang Store and Kaohsiung Arena where I eat most. The food quality is maintained in both stores and the Dayuan 100 store in Kaohsiung that I visited for the first time this time, and there is no difference due to different stores.
The first recommended pot base when coming to Haidilao is their spicy butter pot base. If the taste is not corrected, it will actually be very spicy, so the store staff will actively ask if you want to reduce the spiciness. Another recommended pot base is their pork belly and chicken pot. The soup is rich and mellow. The highlight is that the soup contains pork belly and chicken, which is quite good.
For meals, the first choice is the fried dough sticks, which go very well with the spicy pot base. In addition, the shrimp sliders are also a must-try option!
One thing I can mention is that the face-changing master at Dayuan 100 Store in Kaohsiung seems to be even better than other stores. He can change his face to the point where he doesn’t need to use it. After taking off all the masks, he actually passes the mask back again later. This is the first time I have encountered it among all my experiences of eating Haidilao.
